上加拿大教育局再次来访,为中加学生进行全方位升学指导

烟花三月,莺飞草长。3月15日,苏国外国际部再次迎来了一批教育大腕,他们分别是上加拿大教育局副局长Tim先生,中加项目海外学校校长张晓达女士,上加拿大教育局国际项目主任Andrew先生,上加拿大教育局寄宿家庭经理Eve女士和Eva女士。他们在中加项目主任刘红霞的陪同下,进行了为期两天的升学指导及中外方教学研讨活动。本学年以来,这已经是上加拿大教育局第三次到访我校,对中加项目组的学生进行专业的指导和跟踪服务。

On March 15th, SIFLS welcomed a number of international educator again. They are Tim, deputy director of Upper Canada District School Board; Soda, principal of overseas school; Andrew, International Project Director of Upper Canada District School Board and Ms. Eve and Ms. Eva,Homestay Managers. With the accompanied of Lynn, director of Canadian Program, they have the meetings about foreign studies and guidance in teaching activities. For one year, this is the third time visiting to our school by Upper Canada District School Board. It provided a professional guidance and tracking service to the students in Canadian Program.

15日,加方团队对中加10年级的学生进行了“一对一”的面试,对学生已经完成的学校选择及ESL水平进行再次确认,同时和每一个学生进行深入的沟通,了解他们对寄宿家庭的要求,并详细记录每个学生的具体情况,如是否对宠物、药物或饮食过敏等,为后期寄宿家庭的安排做好充分的准备。

On March 15th, the Canada educators conducted a "one to one" interview, and confirmed the selected school and the level of ESL. At the same time, they have the deep communication with every student about the homestay. They recorded each student particularly, such as whether allergies to pet, drugs or food, and do ready for the homestay arrangement.

16日,Tim和张校长分别和项目的中外教师就如何提高教学质量及课堂管理、如何帮助学生提高英语学习力等方面做了深入研讨。

On March 16th, Tim and Zhang principals made in-depth discussions with Chinese and foreign teachers on how to improve teaching quality and classroom management, and how to help students improve their English learning ability.

The Canadian Program in SIFLS was cooperated with the Upper Canada District School Board. Since 2003, it has been well received by students and parents for its rich experience in running schools. The flexible education system, choice of curriculum, high quality of domestic and foreign teachers, professional guidance, and more intimate homestay arrangements are all helping students solve many overseas academic and life problems, and realize their university dreams.
